Our prices and conditions

Welcome to the Splendid hotel in Bandol where we wish you an excellent stay.
The following conditions are applicable to any sales arrangement with Le Splendid , 83 Avenue Foch, 83150 Bandol.
The customer acknowledges having read those generals conditions and accepts to respect them.

PRICES
Our rates are adapted to the four seasons (Inter season, Mid season, High season and Summer).
For all bookings, in addition to our website, we can be reached by email (contact@splendidbandol.com) or by telephone on 04 28 01 21 40.

• The city tax of Bandol is 3,25€ per day and per adult.
• Breakfast buffet is served from 8:00 to 10:30 am at the rate of 20€ per person and 15€ per child.
• Pets are not allowed in our hotel.
• Pick up From bandol Station to Hôtel :15€ (Thank to call to book it with our team)
• A private secured parking space is available for motorcycles and electric cars upon reservation at the rate of 15€ per night in low and mid season and 20€ during high season and summer. 
• Parking before or after the check in and check out time: Full day extra charged
• Early Arrival 30% of the amount of a night. (11h depending on availability)
• Late Departure 30% of the amount of a night. (3pm depending on availability)
• The hotel does not have extra beds. Ambre and Corail rooms can accommodate 3 to 4 people at the rates for triple and quadruple occupancy.
• Twin beds available in some rooms ( AGATE and NACRE)
• Baby crib available for kids under 3 year old.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION AND DEPOSIT
• Each reservation made online or on our website will be confirmed after the payment of a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay, either by wire transfer or by debit on a credit card. (Automatic debit when booking online)
• Each reservation made via Booking or Expedia will be confirmed after the payment of a deposit of 50% of the total amount of the stay with the same credit card that was used for the reservation on the platform.
• The deposit is deductible from the total amount of the stay.
• A valid credit card with the name of the client and an ID card will be requested at the time of check in.
• The total amount of the room will be requested at check-in.

CANCEL POLICY
•  Free cancellation 7 days before arrival, after this deadline, if the room could not be re-rented, the deposit is not refundable.
• All booking changed or cancelled within 24h before arrival : The price of the first night will be billed and the full deposit kept.
• Any stay started is fully due.

NO SHOW
• In case of no-show on the scheduled date of arrival, the total amount of the stay will be charged.

SHORTENED STAY
• Any stay started is fully due.
• If you have to shorten your stay at the last minute, the full price of your original booking confirmation will be charged.

ARRIVAL - CHECK IN
• Rooms are available from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
• In case of late arrival, please inform us in advance to organize your arrival properly.
• You can benefit from an early check-in, according to our availability and for an extra of 30% of the room price.

DEPARTURE - CHECK OUT
• Rooms must be vacated by 11:00 am.
• In case of departure before 7:00 am, please contact the front desk to settle the invoice the day before.
• Late departures, after 11:00 am, can be organized, on request, according to the activity and the season, with an additional charge of 30% of the amount of a night.

RETURN OF ACCESS CARDS
• Cards giving you access to your room and all the common areas of the hotel during your stay. Please take care of them and remember to return them to us when you leave.
• Any loss or damage, making a card unusable or not presentable, will be charged 20 Euros each.

LIVING TOGETHER
We welcome you from 8am to 9pm.
• Your buffet breakfast is served every morning in our lounge from 8:00 to 10:30.
• A snack menu can be arranged at lunch and on request during evening.
• Our bar, the 1929, welcomes you every day from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm
• The hotel has an indoor swimming pool which can be privatized and is included in the room rate. (Reservation at the front desk or please contact us before your stay)

Non-smoking establishment
• Out of respect for our guests, the Splendid Hotel is a non-smoking hotel. As such, it is forbidden to smoke in the rooms.
• Ashtrays are available on the terrace and in the garden only.
• A no respect of this rule will cause an extra charge – One night rate extra
• The procedure that lead to the increase are the flagrant delicto, the alarm of the smoke detector, the deterioration of the furniture and/or the appliances, a strong smell preventing to rent the room temporarily.

In-room meals
• Out of respect for our guests, it is forbidden to take meals in the room in order to avoid soiling and damage.
• The hotel authorizes you to bring food from outside and offers you that you take your meals in the lounge. Plates, cutlery, napkins, etc. are provided in the lounge.
• Failure to comply with this prohibition will result in an increase in the price of a night in your room.
• The modalities that lead to the increase are the flagrant offence, the degradation of the furniture, the linen and/or the appliances, a strong smell preventing to rent the room temporarily.
Splendid Hôtel Linen 
• The Splendid Hotel provides you with high quality room and bath linens.
• If you wish to purchase our linen with the hotel logo, a list of unit prices is available at the reception desk.
• Any loss or damage, making the room or bath linen unusable or not presentable, will be charged at the rates displayed at the reception and in your welcome booklet.
Parking
• A private video supervised parking, accessible to motorcycles and electric vehicles, is at your disposal upon reservation.

DATA PROCESSING AND FREEDOM-WIFI-VIDEOSURVEILLANCE
• In application of the law 78-17, known as "informatique et libertés", customers are informed that their reservation is subject to computerized personal data processing. Users have the right to access and rectify the data entered, which can be exercised at the head office: SARL SPLENDID - 23, Rue d'Artois - 75008 Paris. It is specified that this information is not communicated to third parties.
• The hotel offers free wifi internet access. The client user undertakes to ensure that the computer resources made available to him/her are not used in any way for the purposes of reproduction, representation, provision or communication to the public of works or objects protected by copyright, by a related right such as texts, images, photographs, audiovisual musical works, software and video games, without the authorization of the holders of the rights provided for in Book I and II of the Intellectual Property Code when such authorization is required.
• The establishment has a video surveillance system in the common areas of the building and the parking lot.

MOVING
• In the event that the hotel is not available or in the event of force majeure, the hotel reserves the right to accommodate the client, in whole or in part, in a hotel of equivalent or higher category, offering services of the same nature. The transfer will then be at the expense of the hotelier who will not be able to be sought in payment of any additional compensation.

RESPONSIBILITY
• The hotel declines all responsibility in case of theft, loss or damage to the client's belongings during their stay.
• The client will be held responsible for any damage, deterioration, vandalism that could occur due to the occupation of the premises and/or due to the participants and/or the staff under his responsibility, as well as to movable, decorative and real estate goods belonging or not to the hotel.
• Therefore, Le Splendid Hôtel may ask the client to leave the establishment without any indemnity or reimbursement and to reimburse the damages caused by his actions.

APPLICABLE LAW
• These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law. This applies to both substantive and formal rules. Any disputes will fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.

LITIGATION & MEDIATION (in accordance with article L 111-1 of the French Consumer Code)
• After contacting the hotel "LE SPLENDID" by post or by e-mail at contact@splendidbandol.com and failing a satisfactory response within 60 days, the customer may refer the matter to the Tourism and Travel Ombudsman, whose contact details and procedures are available on his website: www.mtv.travel.

RIGHT OF OPPOSITION TO TELEPHONE CONTRACTING (in accordance with article L 223-2 of the French Consumer Code)
• Consumers who do not wish to be the subject of commercial canvassing by telephone may, free of charge, register on a telephone canvassing opposition list. This list can be accessed at https://www.bloctel.gouv.fr/ .
